EDC Acoustics provides customized acoustic solutions for all sound environments covering: live concert sound, theatre, corporate events, retail, commercial paging, education, and difficult acoustic environments. EDC Acoustics products have a unique and un-paralleled ability to customise speaker dispersion and audio coverage in both the horizontal and vertical planes.
This industry game changing technology provides significant advantages over traditional line array and conventional steered column technologies. Specialized acoustic algorithms optimise dispersion while maintaining constant phase control and linear amplitude.
Such acoustic precision and control dramatically improves the fidelity of sound in any space, and opens a magnitude of alternative options in relation to speaker mounting and size.
Combining precision engineering with robust build quality, our products are designed to deliver top-class performance on demand, backed up by one-to-one customer support for the life of the product. While our modern factory in Surrey is geared to robotic consistency of CNC-machined birch ply speaker cabinets, our flexible design-to-prototype workflow is so streamlined as to allow us to accommodate special customer requirements and even one-offs.
As a company we are very approachable – just nice people to deal with. Founders Ed Kinsella and Mike Wheeler are just a phone call away, and are often seen at the sharp end of an install or live event loading the truck like everyone else on the production crew. The coal face is really the only place to fully absorb what’s going on in sound reinforcement, and that allows us to bring fresh thinking to product design.
We strive for inclusiveness, an awareness of what’s going on around us, the pursuit of admittedly high ideals, and old-school values like one-to-one customer support and pride in workmanship. We’re unashamedly keen on keeping things simple – using natural materials, avoiding complicated processing where it’s not needed, supporting sustainable processes wherever possible, and designing out anything that gets in the way of enjoying the show.
At the end of the day, what goes in comes out.
Founded in 1996, Innovox manufactures high-performance loudspeakers for professional, commercial and residential applications. Our focus has always been on providing maximum performance with a minimum of bells and whistles, as well as minimal visual impact. This "performance-first" philosophy drives all of our product development.
Proprietary ultra-low-profile cone drivers, designed and built in-house, enable us to produce speakers with full-size performance in extremely thin enclosures. Innovox Slim Line speakers extend both frequency response and dynamic range far beyond what planar-type speakers can produce, while maintaining enclosure depths well under two inches. This combination of extremely low visual profile with truly high-definition audio performance gives the AV system designer unprecedented flexibility in speaker placement, while ensuring a level of sonic accuracy, naturalness and clarity far above the industry norm.
We build 100% of our speakers in our own factory, located in Saint Paul, Minnesota. We produce our proprietary low-profile cone drivers in-house, including machining the magnetic motor components. To better control both quality and lead time, we source the great majority of our components domestically. Our enclosure components are precision-fabricated in the Twin Cities metro area, local to our factory.
In addition to providing high-performance speakers of uncommonly slim profile, Innovox makes very accurate subwoofers up to double 15" in size, as well as full-range hybrid array systems capable of over 127 dB SPL.
Innovox Audio. From the classroom to the concert hall, we cover it all, with accuracy, precision and power.

Luminex Network Intelligence Switches
Converged networking is much more cost-effective and time-saving. Luminex switches are validated against many protocols and you can easily set-up a combined network for your lighting, audio and video applications, without any worries or compromises.
With Luminex switches and the RLinkX protocol you don’t have to worry about losing signal during a big show. Whenever a link fails or breaks, the redundant link automatically takes over the signal in just milliseconds. Also on power and temperature level our switches offer redundancy.
Climbing the truss to change a simple device setting or patch lighting fixtures is a thing of the past. All our converters and splitters are RDM enabled so you can quickly setup and manage all your end-devices from one central platform: your favourite RDM controller.
Taking equipment on a tour, renting it to customers or using it for live events makes it really vulnerable for damage. That can lead to catastrophic situations. But not with Luminex. Our devices have an extra robust housing and ruggedized Ethercon or Fiber-Optic connectors.

Symetrix- DSP Done Right
Symetrix was one of the earliest licensees of Audinate’s Dante protocol, a choice that has proven prescient. With hundreds of third party licensees and a list of commercially available products that is growing exponentially, the Dante protocol is now an established standard – far and above any competition.
Since the introduction of our first Dante enabled product in 2012, we’ve leveraged the benefits of the protocol for our own box-to-box audio networking as well as for peer-to-peer connection with third parties – but we didn’t stop there. In early 2014, Symetrix began native integration of select third party products eliminating the need for Dante Controller or extra configuration software enabling systems designers to create tightly integrated and proven systems with a single streamlined workflow using Symetrix Composer software.
Now, with AES67 compatibility built-in, Dante’s reach has vastly expanded again offering a previously unfathomable breadth of products able to be integrated into, and managed with, Symetrix DSP. From the power of that ecosystem, these partnerships grow to provide our customers the best of the best components to create even better audio, video, and control systems for their customers.
