Fascinated by music and sound as a young boy, led Michael Solomon to study Music, Audio Technology & Communications in college and landed internships at two of the leading recording companies in NYC. Working for several major recording engineers and producers, intensified Mike’s fascination with microphones, speakers, recording, and live sound technology and launched his career in pro-audio.
While working at Shure, Electro-Voice, Jensen, and Beyerdynamic, Mike accrued years of experience in market, product & business development, and team building, under the tutelage of some of the industry’s greatest engineering and strategic experts, while also working with many influential recording, concert, and broadcasting talent throughout the world.
After 22 years in the microphone industry, Mike and John Cardone, who worked together early in their careers, developed the plan to launch Cardone Solomon and Associates, a manufacturer representative organization, in July 1997. Celebrating CS&A’s 25thanniversary in July 2022, Mike takes great pride in the talented team brought together which makes CS&A one of the top manufacturer’s representative firms in the United States. An admitted workaholic, away from work Mike is an avid guitarist and enjoys golf, cooking, the beach, swimming, sailing, dining out, and being together with friends and family.
